Gionee M7 Power India Launch Set for November 15, Comes With 5000mAh Battery

Chinese mobile maker Gionee has started sending media invites for the launch of its new M7 Power smartphone in India. The firm will introduce the Gionee M7 Power on November 15. The company started teasing the India launch of the device last week.9 was launched initially in China alongside premium Gionee M7. Two of the biggest highlights of the M7 Power is its large 5000mAh battery and display which comes with 18:9 aspect ratio.



In terms of specifications, Gionee M7 Power gets a 6-inch FullView display having a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset competes against the likes of Oppo F5 and Vivo V7+ which feature FullView display as well The M7 Power doesn’t have a home screen button on the front, and people can use the rear-facing fingerprint sensor to unlock the smartphone.

The device Powered by 1.4GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, the M7 Power comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Gionee M7 Power packs a 13MP rear camera featuring a LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF supported include slow motion, backlight, group selfie, night, time lapse, translation, and more. The front camera is 8MP and it supports features like card scanner, group selfie mode, and video calling. This is a dual SIM device that supports hybrid SIM slot. It runs on Amigo OS 5.0 which is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.  It is expected that it will be available in three color variants: Blue, Black, and Gold.

HTC Announces Two New U11 Smartphones: Life and Plus

HTC has announced two new mobile phones in addition to its flagship U11 mobile. The handsets launched by the smartphone maker are known as HTC U11 Plus and the HTC U11 Life.

The firm launched the U11 Life in the US for a price tag of $349 which amounts to about (Rs 22,500) at the time of writing. however, the U11 Plus launched in the UK at a price of 699 pounds which amounts to approximately (Rs 60,000) for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The device manufacturer has launched two variants on U11 Life in the United States, the first one is powered by Android One while the second runs on HTC Sense skin atop Android system and the launch of U11 Plus, HTC has joined the bezel-less mobile trend.


HTC U11 Plus comes with a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4/6 GB RAM with 64/128 GB internal storage that expandable up to 256GB by using microSD card. In terms of optics, the phone packs a 12 MP UltraPixel 3 OIS f/1.7 aperture camera on the back and an 8 MP sensor on the front just like the HTC U11. The device has an IP68 rating making it water and dust resistance. It is embedded with 3930mAh Non-removable Li-ion Battery. The connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

In terms of specification, the HTC U11 Life comes with a 5.2-inch full HD LCD display and has an IP67 rating making it water and dust resistant. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat while the former has the stock Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone has been powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset alongside 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a micro-SD card. The HTC U11 Life sports a 16-megapixel camera sensor on front and back. It is embedded with houses 2,600 mAh battery. The connectivity options included are 4G VoLTE, 3G USB type-C reversible connector, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, and GPS.
