Gionee launches new M2017 smartphone with 7000mAh battery

The dual-SIM Gionee M2017 comes with a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) AMOLED display with curving edges, sapphire glass, and a powerful element density of 518ppi. The phone is powered by 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In terms of specifications, Gionee M2017 is equipped with dual-camera setup (12-megapixel + 13-megapixel) at the back with LED flash. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel for shooting a selfie.  The Gionee M2017 is obtainable with inbuilt storage of 128GB, however, there's no microSD card support for expandable storage.

The Gionee M2017 measures 155.2x77.6x10.78mm and weighs 238 grams. The phone endows a fingerprint scanner at the front for advanced security and comes with a rough-textured back for a premium feel. Other connectivity options include 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. apparently, the phone does not go with a 3.5mm headphone jack, however, it only sports a USB Type-C port. The company is offering the mobile in two color variants of Black and Gold.

As the company did't reveal anything about its launched in other countries so we will have to wait and see when it will make its way to the Indian market and other countries.
